Thumbs down no sound with new kenwood

My mother got me a new kenwood deck for my Bday, for my 92 runner. I purchased the harness adapter and face plate adapter.
I have two extra wires with no match left,(orange) from the adapter., I realized this afterfact however EVERYTHING worked perfect EXCEPT there is no sound. I removed the fr. spkrs a few months ago and have been using the rears alone. anyways, no sound....lights , functions, audio inputs, tuner etc. all work, just no sound.
someone said I have to disc. the fact. amp?...where?...and huh?

you have an amp powering the speakers from factory. they are in the speaker box behind the stock rear speakers. you will be way ahead of the game if you just run new speaker wire to the speakers... trust me. if you want to bypass the amps you will need to pull the rear panels anyways and bridge 4 wires into 2, I think its the black needs to be with green and the red needs to be with brown, then you need to connect the blue wire to the signal wire on the back of your head unit.. then you will have old worn out crap wires running your rear speakers that now don't have enough power to sound as good as stock.... your best bet is too get a decent set of speakers and re-wire the whole thing... when I was done the only wire I used from the stock connections was the constant power supply.

by the way your kenwood will fit in your stock dash, you have to remove the stock dash face..

run some good quality wires to all 4 corners. Not worth trying to use the factory amp. i believe its only 20watts.

almost, 20 watts max, actually running around 13 watts constant. your average head unit will run that no problem..
