Yeah, I didn't think the Nissan adapter would fit. Possibly a delco/GM adapter, but I'd have to see it first.

Two questions rwmorrirson - kinda off topic, don't mean to hi-jack your thread, but how do you like your Revos? I'm kinda torn between the BFG ATs and them - leaning more toward the Revos.

Hijack on- Go for the Revos, awesome traction in rain & snow, can't break them loose on dry pavement at all. Got rid of AT's for these & love them.-Hijack off.

Thread: looked at the GM adapter & it's the same size, but I need a female one of those & a female standard sized Motorola as Y-harness into a standard size Motorola male for the Alpine.

If the GM adapter will work for you, then go here:

http://www.installer.com/antenna/

and order the UV-43. This has two motorola female inputs that tie to one motorola input male. Then pick up a GM-10 to adapt the diversity antenna to the motorola Y.

Total cost - about $20. Note that every time you add a piece, be it an extension, a "Y", and adapter, or whatever, there is a slight loss of signal during the transition. Also not as elegant as a single cable solution, but I can't seem to find any of those anywhere.

A quick piece of advice for you though - before you order, pick up the mini-GM adapter from Wal-Mart to fit-check it. It may look the same, but actually be 1 mm different and not fit. After you fit-check it, then just take it back to Wal-Mart - they have the best return policies!

Hope this works for you - I think it's your best bet unless Ruizs lets you know where he got his adapter.

PS - Thanks for the info on the Revos - I drive probably 85% street 15% off-road, so I think that I'm going to pick up a set for myself. Did you order them online, or find them locally?

Thanks for the info, can get the GM one at PepBoys, will get it there & try it before I order the Y adapter. Awesome antenna site, BTW. As for the Revos, I got them at Tires Plus, but even Costco can order them in. I did it locally so I wouldn't have to deal with installation & old tire disposal.

Whats the Tacoma antena mod, sounds cool. Another mod for my runner to swallow.

Run a quick Search for it (green button) and you'll find the mod, or go to www.4runners.org, which is Bob_98SR5's site.
