Need help locating an electrical part
Due to a bad hackjob of wiring by the previous owner, im left with a cdplayer wiring harness that is all chopped up and tapped together. Do any of yall know where i can get the blue plug that would plug into the back of the cd player. Do they make them just like they do a wiring adapter for cd players or not? If i cant get one, do yall got any ideas on how to fix what is broken. As of now, my front speakers go in and out and some devilish noises come out of my aftermarket stereo on some weird balance variations so i had to plug my stock one back in but im still lacking the front right speaker.

it is the stock cd player with 3 disk changer that came in my 95 4runner. Toyota uses and has used the same plugs in ALL the 4runners. Just lookin for someone that has i believe it is the 9 pin plug and the 5 pin plug. Im purdy sure those were the numbers for um. I can get pics if you have something like it and need verification.

Anyone?? Im trying to install a new cd player in my 4runner and cant do to a hacked up plug. Once again, its the plug that would normally plug into the stock amp. Its a 9 pin and 5 pin plug. If u dont have one, do you know where i can get one. Ive been searching but cant seem to find anything.

you could do the "reverse" harness as Astralplane suggests or you could use a DMM and figure out what each wire is and do a hardwire.
If you were closer to me I could do the hardwire for you for some taco bell or maybe 10 bux in diesel...lol

OOOOOO, well that makes sense. So yall are suggesting just skip the whole plug step and hardwire the aftermarket HU plug into the factory wiring harness right? This sounds easy enough. Pending i keep the 4runner or not, ill definetly do this. Thanks.
thefallman - thanks for the diagram, i always looked for one of those.
