Well I recieved a nice big box of goodies from Crutchfield on Friday (Stereo, Speakers, Satelite Radio Antenna... Unfortunately my Satelite Radio Tuner is on Backorder ) And I Spent Friday night splicing together the harness and everything. Then I went out yesterday morning and installed my new Stereo and Speakers

At first I was a little hesitant about getting the JBL Speakers, mainly because I hadn't really heard anything about them, but I listened to them briefly in a local stereo shop (Not the exact same speakers, but close) and I liked them. And after listening to them in my truck, I really like them They give a nice clear sound (even at fairly high volumes ).

I'm also very impressed by the reciever (Kenwood MP522) although I'm still learning how to use it I'm currently trying to figure out the MP3 part of it But overall it's a great setup

I'll try and get some pictures of it when it stops raining.

Sounds like a great setup to me. Ive still got the stock cd system in mine and it sounds good but they speakers are about shot.

 

Let me know if you like the MP522. I'm considering buying the exact same unit. Post pics whenever you get them. I'd love to see how it looks installed.
