Install issues?

Install issues?
I just bought some MB Quart Reference 6.5's for the doors in my truck. I had Magnolia Hi-Fi install them. For the first month they worked just fine now everytime I go over a bump or something that shakes the truck the passenger side speaker cuts out or shuts off.
I also had them install the amp. They put it under the passenger side seat and cut a hole in my carpet to run all the wires. Now I noticed that when I push on the area of wires that goes under my carpet the passenger side speaker does the same cutting out sound. Does anyone have any idea on what it could be. Magnoila doesn't seem interested in taking my truck back in so I figured I could ask some of you audio gurus. Thanks for the help!

what do you mean they dont sound interested? sounds like their crappy workmanship is the reason you are having problems, i would take it back and keep complaining until they decide to fix it for free...... if the techs wont do anything, then the manager might, if he still wont do it, district manager is next.... then corporate... somewhere along hte line they will claim repsonsibility and take care of it......

i'm with DavidA on this one... sounds like a short. check the speaker wire going from the amp to the passenger speaker. its probably just a loose connector (ie moving whenever you hit a bump or being pressed on like mentioned). check the amp connections first, then if thats OK then check the speaker connections

Yeah I checked the connections on my amp and they are tight. In the area I live... you have a choice between car toys and magnolia hi-fi. I have heard nothing but good things about the installer at the store that did the work. I made sure he did it so thats why its pissing me off. I cant go down the road with out the damn thing cutting out.
