I have looked all over and can't find anything...

Hey there, I am thinking about custom making a box for a sub to put in the rear panel of my 4Runner - you know, where that door is?!?! And before I jump into it I was wondering if anyone has done it? I could use some advice on materials, size and how to stabalize it... I could use any advice you got! It will be a little while before I jump on it, but I just want to get all my ducks in a row before I begin... Thanks again!!

hey matty, in the future can you make your thread titles a little more detailed? as there has been a post from the mods about 'lead on...' thread titles. makes it alot easier when your searching for the desired thread a couple months down the line. thx.

there are a couple threads on this subject... with instructions.
i'm planning on doing the same to mine.. i have another link on cardomain with alot of pictures. (just need to find it) but, for now.. here's the large informative thread on YT.

Do a find on my user name and sub box (I think). I had that exact thing done to mine and it turned out very nice. It holds two 10" subs but could easily be built to hold 12's.

Well, I just did the find myself and the post which links to the picture doesn't come up for me. Might want to try it. If I find it, I'll post it again.

Found the picture in my Control Panel. Let's see if this works......

My sound fabricator has done that. He used the acessoriey hatch in the rear to hold the magnet. Then he built a wood and fiberglass encousre around it.
