HU for my Tacoma

Hey, I was wondering what the best head unit I could get for $125-150. I was looking at this: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-32lPTmi...0&I=020DB355MP and thought it looked good. Does anyone know anything about this model or other recommendations? For speakers, I have Polks in the front and Kickers in the back. Thanks for your help.

email Bud or search for Scion Tacoma. He put a Scion HU in his Tacoma and it looks good and he said it sounds really good too. You might be able to pick one up cheap on ebay or Scion forum.
Note they do come in 6-disc versions too.

check out the Alpine CDA-9827. nothing fancy, but great sound and reliable. got mine on ebay for $150 new. elcipse makes great ones, but they're pretty expensive. kenwood and pioneer are good too.

if you plan on powering the speakers with the head unit, look into something with some power. that alpine only puts out 17watts RMS. check out this one:

I have a Clarion and love it... I loved Clarion enough to purchase a 2nd one.
I have used DZX725, and I have now a DZX835MP

Note Crutchfield does have the highest price for headunits. I am not sure what parts you need for the install of a Tacoma...
