Help with choice of head unit

I have an 06 4Runner and I'm in the market for a new head unit. I have narrowed it down to three different models. They are:

Alpine IVA-W200

Kenwood DDX6019

Panasonic AVH-P6800DVD

I think they all do pretty much the same thing, but I just wanted to know everyones opinion. I like the Alpine but price is a factor.

Thanks

Well, I have the Alpine in my 2000 Runner. It is pretty nice. I am running the iPod adapter cable, Sirius unit and 6 disc changer. it is a really solid unit. The touch screen is great and the iPod controll is much, much faster then the previous versions. Overall this is a great unit.

I'd rule out the Kenwood. I assume you meant Pioneer not Panasonic. Alpine and Pioneer are both really good. Brand wise I think Alpine is a better company for car audio, but Pioneer kinda dominates the in-dash video category. If I was choosing I'd go with the Pioneer, they are really good quality. Also to consider is if you ever plan to add on a navigation, the Alpine navigation system sucks from what i've heard.

I was told that the Panasonic is actually a Pioneer, but I'm not sure on that. If it's a Pioneer then why don't they call it a Pioneer and not a Panasonic?

I know that the Panasonic doesn't cost as much as the Alpine.

It is a Pioneer, not a Panasonic AVH-P6800DVD, only a Pioneer AVH-P6800DVD exists. It's called a Pioneer and always was, somebody mixed you up along the line.

hardly. JVC doesn't compete with either of those companies, plus, that post was completely off topic.
