Installed the Pioneer 4800MP this weekend and I'm thrilled. Sound is great, install was a snap, (45 minutes from start to finish even with soldering all the connections and covering them with heat shrink) and the colors match the factory green to boot.

I used a $4.99 mini stereo cable to connect my MP3 player to the back AUX jack on the unit and ran it along the console down to the right side of the driver's seat where it tucks out of the way when not in use.

This is a great unit for the money. I got mine from Crutchfield who included the wiring adapter and under unit pocket free of charge.

if i was in your situation, i would find one i liked on crutchfield, and then do a froogle search for it, and buy it much cheaper elsewhere.

Crutchfield's customer service would be hard to beat. I ordered the Pioneer IPOD cable with the unit. I then realized after receiving the unit that I could use a much cheaper mini stereo cable ($4.99 vs. $34.99). Crutchfield includes a return UPS label to send back anything from the order. I made one phone call and in 5 minutes had the cable packed up and sent back and a credit for $34.99.

Very painless.
