My clock and the dash lights down by the automatic shifter, keep coming on and off spontaneouosly. Is this a contection or a larger electrical issue? I can hit the center console and the light comes on. The clock I just need to push one of the buttons and it comes back on. They also don't go off at the same time.

It's a 98 limited auto.

Check the connections?
Try pulling the panels off. First start with the one around the shifter, and then take off the one around the radio. You may have to pop off some of the cup holder part to get the trim around the shifter off.
Mine pull right off. If yours never came off, they may be a little tough, but they pull right off.
