cd player mounting

On my 87 p/u, my cd player is currently held in place by being sandwiched between peices of foam, i do not have the stock radio brakets or the tray that goes under the stereo, any ideas of how i could mount this radio securely but also look somewhat "cool"?

You should be able to buy the stock mounting brackets from your local dealer. I tried and they said that they could order them for me. Other then that I don't really know of any secure ways you could mount your stereo.

You might be able to find a dash kit somewhere for your truck that will hold it. Try Walmart or some chain auto stores.

yeh id go with lbc994runner. ive had 6 diff cars/trucks and ive installed my own sound systems in each one. over the years ive come to realize that a wiring harness and dash install kit make it SOOO much easier to install an aftermarket H/U. if walmart or whatever dont have what ya need you could try either autotoys.com/ or scosche.com
