CD Player

I just bought a toyota and it has a pioneer deck with a CD player. one problem, the cd player wont play a cd. what should i do?

Did you try putting one of those CD lens cleaners in there? Might just do the trick. You can pick them up at Best Buy, Circuit City, Kmart, Wal Mart, etc.. I got a PS2 for free (the guy went and bought an xbox) because it wouldn't play any games. Popped one of the lens cleaners in and it has been running like a champ for over 2 years now. Try it out.

you can buy my alpine headunit and 6 disc cd changer and be done with it.

Try the lense cleaner, if that doesnt work, check with pioneers website. should be a support section you can browse thru and start trouble shooting your problem.

didnt work wit a burnt CD but it did wit a regular, an radio does work

so if its a purchased cd you get sound thru the speakers, radio you get sound thru the speakers and burnt cd you don't? correct?

If its a old cd player, some of them won't play burnt cd's. Something in them doesn't allow the laser to read the cd. That could be the problem.
