Where is a good spot to find the best deals an new head-units. I'm thinking about buying the Alpine CDA-9835 and would like to get it for a decent price. Thanks

I didn't see the 9835 available at the moment but check back since they always post new ones available. The 9835 costs $375 plus shipping through them. I just bought the 9833 and it's an awesome deck but I kinda wish I ponied up the extra $75 and got the cream of the crop 9835.

 

What I like to do is browse the Crutchfield website (they have alot of great info on there), find the exact model I want, then google it. Yahoo! shopping will give you a long list of vendors and their prices. From there you determine which vendor you want to deal with and order the item. I just got a Pioneer DEH-P8600MP for $330 shipped!

Start looking for the Alpine CDA-9851 on ebay, they're selling for $199 already and they just came out last month. They retail for $279 minimum. I have one on order and should be here MOnday, will post some pics when I get it. I'm renting a CDA-9831 from Circuit City and I paid $270 for it and its a 2004 model.
