Blew my subwoofer, need advice.

Well I've had my 10" JL Audio W0 sub for about 3 years and it finally blew the other day. Looking to replace it, and would like to get another JL Audio, just wondering if I should upgrade to one of the 10W1v2-4 or 10W1v2-8 models? Not too clear on the differences, but I certainly don't mind spending a few extra dollars to upgrade on better materials in the W1 models. I've got a smaller Alpine amp running just one 10" sub in a fairly small basic box. Thanks for any advice!

The w1 is the replacement for the w0. The -4 &-8 are the ohm loads of the sub. If your only running a single sub most likely your going to want the 4 ohm speaker.

please post your amplifier's model number. If you blew out your old sub, there may be a better fit for your amp than the exact replacement for the speaker you just blew.
