3rd Gen Stereo dash kit

Who makes the nicest quality easy install dash kit to replace the huge stock unit with an normal size unit ?

Are you talking about upgrading your stereo deck? If so, any aftermarket deck will fit just fine. All you'll need is Toyota pocket to cover the empty space. Those pockets are $5-$7 at any audio store.

yeah im just wanting to remove the stock oversized unit and intall an alpine CDA915 I thinki understand what you mean. I just never had to replace such a big stereo unit, thought it took a kit of somekind. thanx

Replacing stereo on 4Runner is super easy. You take out Toyota unit, connect Alpine unit with special harness and you're good to go. No antenna adapters, no mounting hardware, just Toyota pocket and you're done!
