Hey folks. Longtime Toyota owner but newbie to the forum.

I have an 2003 limited 4 runner with the jbl synthesis system with the navigation system. I got it for my wife a few years ago and it is finally mine. She blew a few of the speakers. I am pretty sure I need to replace the front woofers, front tweeters, and center speaker. I plan on keeping the car for a couple more years. I am thinking about replacing the front door speakers myself and putting in an interface for my iPhone. I saw a navy update disc for 45 bucks.

I would like to hear some suggestions on speakers and if I should replace the head unit. I don't want to spend a fortune and if I get some descent sound from my phone I will be happy.
