Thanks for the heads up. I am a definite Maybe.. LOL Reason being my sister is getting Married in mid June and I just don't know if I will even be here that weekend or will already be going back to CO to help her with stuff.
But I think it is fantastic you took the initiative to set this up. I know some guys down here who go to Gilmer a lot and they really like it. (I have unfortunately missed their last 2 trips as well)...

Haha, ahh the good ol' days! If it makes your parents feel any better, let them know that I am an Army recruiter ;0). Seriously though, I hope you can make it. There is no alcohol allowed on the trail so they dont have to worry about you getting ran over by some trashed dude on the trail.
P.S. Im lovin your rig bro. Dont listen to the nay-sayers about the step! My wife is 5' even and is probably going to need a step LOL.

Well y'all can count me in. No reason I shouldn't be able to go. But this will be my first real wheeling trip, and I'm wondering how hardcore this place is. Will I have any problems since I'm not sfa?

San Antonio Here
San Antonio checking in here. Just bought the "ball-and-chain" a new camry and I took over my wife's 4runner a few months back. I am in the midst of some upgrades. Hope everyone is doing well.

I live just south of D/FW. I just bought my dad's 1998 Tacoma reg cab 4X4, 2.7L. Everything stock except I put some 31X10.50/15 Falken High Country ATs on it. I'd like to know if there are any family friendly places to ride within about 25 miles of the D/FW metroplex. I'd like to take my 4 yr old, but nothing too serious since I'm all stock. This is my daily driver so I don't want want to screw anything up.
