Houston 4runner's club

Thanks!
Got a locker in yours? It's a night and day difference! I wouldn't attempt much rock crawling unless you have at least one locker....
Houston sucks when it comes to off-roading! Gota drive about 4 to 6 hours to get anywhere good.

Hi, I'm in the NW Houston area and I have an '01 4Runner 4x4. It's presently in stock condition (except slightly larger rubber on 16" rims) and I slowly plan upgrading. Does any one have or know of someone with a used plate bumper like a ranch hand style of sorts they'd like to part with? I'm also looking at lifting my 4Runner an inch or two.

Good to hear of a group of 4x4 toyota lovers in the Houston Area. Too bad I live about 20 minutes east of Beaumont. If I see a post of a planned trip, I may chime in. My Runner is always ready, the wife and kids aren't though

Hey guys, been a while I know...
Just moved again, still in Houston though and ready to rip. Got CV axles replaced and lookin to break them again.
Also, anyone knowledgeable about the TOTAL CHAOS LONG TRAVEL IFS ? I'm looking into it...and getting a better rear end set up...

Sugar Hill, its a little place that used to be a junk yard, then a golf course, now its a free for all OHV Park. 10 bucks a person, west houston.
Its a fun spot, has some water running in the middle for a mud pit, check it out.
I still want to find something a bit larger though, IMO...

hey that's sounds pretty close enough, we should try going there some day. I heard there's an off road park called creekside edge in splendora, tx like an hour away. Do that sugar hill place have their own website?

I have been to creekside a few times. I recommend going after it rains. It is very sandy/dusty there when its dry. Its not much of a place but its someplace to go without the law showing up.

There's a new off road park that just open 4 or 5 months ago call brazos bend off road park in needville, tx 30 miles away from 59s and beltway. Go to bbopark.com. It's about 90 acres.
