who sets thread tags?

https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f5/h...uppies-194780/
scroll to the bottom of that thread look at the tags... most of them have NOTHING to do with what the thread is about... are tags manually set (if so, anyone want to man up for setting those tags? or at least explain why you thought 1990, 4x4, 5sp, bronco, ford, full, h2, hot, lowered, manual, monster, pickup, rock, rod, sale, size, sliders, toyota, truck would be usefull tags for video of a smuck in a H2 trying to wheel??) or is the tag feature set by a bot?

i understand that the tags are suppose to be helpful in indexing the site to make searching easier.. but the tags set for that thread (and most threads for that matter) are completely useless..

Interesting. I have noticed also that when you do use the search button, it will turn quite a few threads that have no relevance to what you searched for. Is it simply because someone said something that just happens to be in your search terms? I tried searching for some info on weber, just weber, next thing I know I'm looking at tires and lift kits. But hey, the internet is not perfect.
