Your truck is amazing looking! I fell in love with 4Runners back in 1987. I love the 1st gen look, even though I have a 3rd gen myself. I just like having the V6 and the newer looking panels. However, the removeable top is hard to beat... one of my favorite features on the 1st gens! Great job, the truck is a beauty and you picked a rockin' color to paint it. Great job!

its just a 67 fastback 289 c4 its sat for about 15 years through flood waters motor still runs but i dout we are going to use it. but its loaded ac and tilt wheel that is very cool you open the drivers door and the wheel tilts to the right. the car came with all the gt-500 body kit except the hood.

Are you going to replace the plastic rocker guards for the rear fenders.
I welded up the holes and used gravitex (anti-chip) in the rocker area and then painted over it. It also gave it a nice texture in the area! Here is a pic of it before I painted over it.

[another thing it could be is the tires they shake the whole truck up untill 50mph. I should just find a new nose ]
have you tried using antifreeze or equal in the tires to balance them? Ive heard of this, but dont know if it works....
Keep the pics coming I love watching the progress!

yeah Dave,
The thought ocurred to me too late. You see, we did this job in 2 stages, 1st, the front half, and then the 2nd half. If not for that, I would have definatel done the entire lower half that way. Thenks for the kudos bro,
PS we talked about that, but at the time my friend was getting ready to move out of town and we didnt have enough time to change anything.
