ok. sanded down the rough spots, threw(spelled right?) some paint on it for effect, and set it on the truck to make sure i cut the bed correctly for the shock tower. the reason its only half painted is cause im 2 toning it dark bronze and black (like the front fenders and hood in the background).

pic of the shock mount without bed.

and with the bed on.

Not crazy about the design, but I like the creativity. If you caged the back half I think it would look killer, maybe something that went from the top of the cab then slope down to the tailgate height. Just my 2 cents

Dude, that is looking flippin' fantastic. I saw the bed a couple days ago and loved it, now I see dark bronze and black? Nice! Reminds me a lot of the look of my first car ('78 El Camino black/gold Conquista!)

I need to do a shock tower, I like your thinking.

What are you doing for tabs on the axle?

I like it... when you get one color on it, some wheels and tires, and some armor, it's gonna look sweet.

This is awesome. I love the bed, and in my opinion I like the roll bar better on the truck!

Reminds me of an RC car body for some reason. Not that that's a bad thing.
