some bed fab work (why not?)
#22
ok. sanded down the rough spots, threw(spelled right?) some paint on it for effect, and set it on the truck to make sure i cut the bed correctly for the shock tower. the reason its only half painted is cause im 2 toning it dark bronze and black (like the front fenders and hood in the background).

and with the bed on.

Not crazy about the design, but I like the creativity. If you caged the back half I think it would look killer, maybe something that went from the top of the cab then slope down to the tailgate height. Just my 2 cents

thanks for the cookies guys. im leaning towards the cage deal myself, however that will be in due time since money is short and i need to prepare for the engine swap first. i should have everything painted up and spiffy within the week.

Dude, that is looking flippin' fantastic. I saw the bed a couple days ago and loved it, now I see dark bronze and black? Nice! Reminds me a lot of the look of my first car ('78 El Camino black/gold Conquista!)

for the axle i am going to use these cause i like how they curve out to almost match the angle im mounting the shocks.
