Stuff
Ha the Timber Tramps, was in them 20+yrs ago, got my name on the Rollover Trophy a couple times(bad days), also got included in a feature article in 4Wheel and Offroad Mag too in 1987.(Yeah I'm old.) I'll be up in the Blues too, just like I was last year, too bad the TT didn't stop and say hi. Maybe you'll find us.

I want one too. You should build them and sell them to people upon request. You could make some good money fabbin over there. My mom and dad live in kamiah and orofino so your not too far away. Build me one I'll come pick it up haha

Thanks for the nice comments guys
. Im building a rear bumper right now, but it should be done pretty quickly... I might be able to put together a couple more of the front bumpers before the end of the school year. What would you guys think would be fair to sell one of them for? For those of you who have seen the skymanufacturing plate bumper, it sells for $500 bare steel or $600 powder coated. Although im not much of a fan of how that one looks (its a little too bulky for my taste)... Let me know what you guys think would be fair or if you are still even interested

Just outta curiosity how'd you mount it up to the frame? I mean what locations did you use to bold it up? Ive been looking at my 86 truck and with the body mount locations theres very little frame rail sides to bolt it up to. some pics would be great thanks! and Great job on the bumper looks nice.

Yeah man, that's some good work there.
If you sell em in do it yourself kits, the price would depend on how much a customer would have to totally assemble it. Already pre cut steel and everything, you could make 300-400 bucks I think? Assembled, like 500 or more.
I know if it is was for a 1st gen runner, I would get one.

WOW great job thats what I wanted to make for my truck I wasnt even sure where to start with a plate bumper so (for ease of manufacturing) I went with a tube bumper. If you were to make up some plans for sale I'd be interested.

This makes me wish I had taken advantage of all the shop/ fab and auto tech classes in highschool. They were free, I wonder were I would be now if I had instead of just now trying to do an auto tech program and welding classes and such.

It's actually holding up pretty well. There are a couple marks/chips in the paint where rocks have hit it while i'm going down the highway, but overall, I am impressed with it

That is awesome. I really like it. I want to make one like that for myself soon. Have you decided how you are going to "share" the plans with other people? Are you going to sell them or are you nice enough just to let people have them?
