Pic Request Winch Mounting Plate

Requesting Pics from anyone who has built a custom bumper.

How did you attach the winch mounting plate? Tips? Tricks? Suggestions?

Just bought a MileMarker 9000Lbs Winch with Winch Plate. Looking for ideas on how to mount the winch so I can build the bumper around that.

Also Keep in Mind I have a 3" body lift so I'd like the winch plate up a little higher than the stock cross memeber.

Post up your pics

dont try to mount the winch that high, you will have a lot of leverage on the mount and the front of the frame. instead, since you have enough body lift, tuck it under the grill as close to the radiator as you can.

Thats funny..... Geez and I was thinking of using glue.

Wabbit Thanks for the direction to your site. Im going to build a plate to enclose the factory cross member and beef that area up. I will than build the bracket to support the winch plate off that.

I only need to raise the winch plate 1.5" Up from the stock cross member in order to tuck it perfectly under the Grill

My Bumper will be including a stinger. So the design will be a bit differant,

Any close ups up the side supports, (Bolted to the body mount section)
Also any better pics of the Bottom hoop to protect the Rad ?
