And no that isn't an old spring, it's a aftermarket shackle hanger...

It looks like you have a good base to start with. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with it!

One tool you can use while dialing in the suspension is to drive up on ramps on opposite corners and see if the body stays level or not:

If not level, the body/cab will lean away from the corner with the stiffer suspension:

a cheap alternative to those scary shackles is a add, lets say a 4in block and get a 4in shorter shackle. has to be better than those huge shackles. just a thought. cant wait for the build thread!

No blocks on the axle big looks like a 4" tall block welded under the frame where the shackle hanger attaches.

Are your shocks maxed out will its sitting level?

Just looks like they don't very much room to compress

I just really confused why you need that truck so high. Its a reg cab, so you have a short wheelbase. So even if you lower it it will still have great ground clearance. And you are on 39's im on 35's with you a 4" trail gear front and rear, ex cab, and I don't high center. Just food for thought.

No, the mount is right up under the floor. They have about 8" to compress while it's sitting level.

Oh I agree it is unnecessary and it really doesn't need to be as tall as it is. If I would have originally built it I probably wouldn't have made it so tall... But now that I have it and have driven it on and off road, I like it. It's fun to drive and it's not a daily driver, just a toy.

I hope this is sarcasm as it would be frivolous to start a thread stating you have flex problems and asking for advice on what to do only to deny the advice given.
To make it simple and to add my 2 cents to help you out. I will add this. Get rid of the rear shackle hanger, set your springs for proper shackle angle and geometry. Get rid of the scary shackles and get some real ones. Take out some of that lift on the truck and lower it's center of gravity. If for any other reason than to make it less prone to turtle. Unfortunately flex wil do you no good when your on you lid. Ground clearance will do you no good if you can't flex over a pebble. Then again maybe it was sarcasm and i missed the joke. Any way good luck in trying to dial it in as it seems you might have a bit of a task ahead of you.

I agree with the above..but if all you want is for the rear to flex, then just move that upper rear shackle mount toward the front of the truck. Done, should flex then.
