I'm planning a trip to Tellico for the end of March (24-26). I guess I should post it up in the trip planning section.

I wanna do SlickRock and some of the other easier trails that way it'll give me some seat time before May. Then come May I'm hoping to have the exo-cage done, then it's all out Guardrail, Heli-Pad and (there goes my windows ) School Bus.

Here are some more pictures of the SAS and one of the axle I snapped in half at Uwharrie.

I had no idea I snapped the axle shaft off like this until we started doing the SAS. I guess you could say the IFS went out with a bang.

I like that idea a lot.

I got some water proof cameras from work I’m going to put on the axles and I have some inferred lights and a camera I’m going to put in the grill.

I’ll work on the inside camera idea. I have an old tripod that’s broken so I could use the mount off it.

Man, I would sure offer to help, but with the baby and work I don't have time for anything! I can't even install my own little parts.

Is that damage left over from the Uwharrie trip?

Got my e-lockers all packed up and ready to ship to ZUK (gearinstalls.com). Taking them to Kinko's tomorrow.

He's going to be building some of the stongest e-lockers out there. I'm getting cryo'd 5.29's in these bad boys.

I forgot to take a picture of the 3rds out of there boxes but here's a picture of them boxed up. (the duct tape is temporary)



I’ll miss them when there gone. :cry:

Damn you and Z-Man and you other guys I ride with that are getting heavily modded rigs-now I'm gonna have to do the same! Thinking FZJ possibly?

Just do a Coil SAS on the 4Runner, you know you wanna.

I love my SAS'd Runner. It drives 10x better than it did with IFS. Sense trail-gear has a SAS kit for so cheap I'm going to SAS my 92 pickup instead of fixing the IFS like it needs.

To SAS my 4Runner, add a crawler, then leaf spring the rear I would have way more in it then just buying and modding a FZJ80.

Your right but you can’t look at it like that. You have to look at the “fun”-“fun”-“fun” signs not the $-$-$-$-$ signs - .

An FZJ would be cool. But for the $$$ I’d build an older Runner or Mini. Or just get you a 2nd gen Runner, SAS it and wheel the hell out of it. You have the room and it's not the size of a bus (what can I say – I love 2nd gens. ).

Also needs to be able to tow my camper and I don't want it so modded that it becomes unreliable.
