my 1988 flatbed

Thought I would share some pictures of my bed not comletely finished yet but almost! The idea was to keep it as low as possible i think it worked out very nicely also added about 350+lbs

I guess 3 is the limit so here is another.
my 1988 flatbed-flat-2.jpg

In doing so I would really like to swap to the chevy springs just looking for some input as to if I should use the 2wd or 4wd springs. I am not looking for any lift just more carrying cap. and some travel I dont mind if its an inch or so, I can french in the hangers and get them to where I want.

I quite like that flatbed. I like how the wheel wells are angled.

For your application, the 2wd springs should work just fine. Most people remove the overload spring from the 4wds, anyways.

That bed is nice! Check out Toyospearo's build. He's got tons of flatbed information.
