Mossy - keep on topic. Your posts were deleted by me. No sense ruining a nice thread you have here. PM me what happened to provoke your deleted responses.

Agreed, Mossy, there is good tech here, please don't let a few opinions sway yours.

There's more going on here than you want to know about - trust me. Unfortunately, Mossy became a pawn in a bigger childish game being played.

i'm just glad that you guys see this for what it was.

my apologies to bradley for all this crap that has been flung in his face. it's a shame that he was sucked into the middle of something that originally had nothing at all to do with him or his work to SAS his runner.

best of luck to him.

lets just put it this way, I had the same build posted on TTORA and they were negative to me about some things on the swap which led me to fixing them. They didn't just bash it where I couldn't see it. I had people who had already done it just correcting me on some things that they had also done and led me to things that worked better. Its that easy.

YT and the members got screwed. A lot of folks don't have the heuvos to post pics of their build ups because everyone has an opinion - not all of these will be stellar endorsements. Some folks can take the criticism, some can't.

Thanks for the update Mossy. Regardless of feedback, I wish you would have left the pics.

...out of a good informative thread. All the effort to put it up was done already. I can think of only a few SAC'd 3rd Gen 4Runners. There WAS alot of value in this thread. Now...not so much...

It really has nothing to do with feedback, thats what I was saying. I want to "SEE" the negative feedback (as I did on ttora) so that I can fix things or explain things if need be. It doesn't bother me if people talk bad about it, as long as its there for me to see. In my first post of the finished thread I wrote "flaming is also allowed". And like any project of this size things are gonna have to be fixed, fortunately its nothing major. My aal finally came in for the front springs so I can give 'em a little arch and some stiffness. The drag link issue was a very easy fix. The truck rides great on the street and off road. It flexes like a sob and it is very stable on off camber obstacles. And as for the lockers I had a very bad experience with ARB so they aren't getting my money and in east Tn lockrights front and rear isn't really an issue. However it would be a major PITA out west where there is more traction. As for the boogers, I know they look like crap but they are strong. I can not get the wire speed to work right lately but its my 4runner and I dont care how they look, as long as they hold. Now that should solve the issues people had that for some reason couldn't put it on here.

You have a nice truck.

Your truck makes 3 that are swapped and do not scrape the sky.

My truck is not on here because:
1. It is done
2. I did it the way I wanted
3. There was nothing that could have been done better/different that I would entertain

good for you for working out the kinks and fixing the few issues that you did have.

it's a shame that you removed the pics. it's also a shame that someone took some comments that were made in semi-private and never meant for you or anyone else here to see and deliver them to you in order to incite your anger. take a little bit to simmer down over this and then look back and see if you can see the other side of the fence.

although the comments may not have been made in a way that suited you and were even mostly non-constructive, you should also realize the context (circle of friends just chatting) and the audience (very small group of said individuals) before losing your cool over something so trivial.

1: the reason I posted everything on here is so people would have something to go to if they ever decided to undertake this project. Which I did do how I wanted.
2: the problems Ive needed help with are the rear shocks and how the hell to get them right and still have room for the other things that are soon going under there. Which now they are temporarily (didn't want to waist another 4ft of tubing on the wrong way) so I've got to get around to doing that right.
3: I am simmered down, Im just simply trying to explain the deal here.
4: Last but not least, I've got to rid of this roof rack and lights. Amy will just have to bring less crap when we go camping until I can get going on the exo.
