A little different projects!!!
I know its not normal for this site but I figured I might show you guys some of the stuff I've been hand forging and selling to the local community. Seems like theres alot more intrest in people hand forging art now adays. Well enough of me running my mouth onward with the pictures.
Here is a show cane I made out of 3/4 square stock, could possibly double as a weapon hahaha.
Heres the handle

Heres the bottom

Here is a heart paper weight I made out of 1/2 inch stock
Left is finished product, right is what I started with

Here are some nails I made for a personal coffee table project

Here is a folded Cross, these seem to be a big hit

Here is another heart I made

One of my completed and treated cross's

Last but not least two cross's and a chizel/drifter I made to aid me in making the cross's.

Well let me know what you guys think!
If anyone is interested just let me know.

Cool stuff....heating metal in a forge and mashing on it with a hammer
is primal man stuff. My grandpa was a blacksmith and welder and used to let us heat up stuff in his forge as little kids (6-7 year old!!) and whack on the red hot metal with hammers on the anvil.

highlux- thanks man yeah it is very primal but is a very good stress reliever lol. I can't seem to get away from welding, hammers, and steel haha. Right now I have a local college machine shop making me another new hammer head out of some of the hardest tooling steel they have, I think its d2 or s7 not sure though. I had a friend design it on solidworks and its will be a heavy persuading hammer lol.
