getting closer..

Here is a funny optical illusion, if you look real hard at the main hoop, it looks bent in the middle, but its not. I can't tell if its the camera angle or how the light is reflecting off it...

Is that 2" tube? Are you using DOM or HREW?

That looks awesome man!

I guess I could be the first 3rd gen with a complete internal cage that would be cool

VERY NICE, love the lazy man method. Granted, this prodject is only a scratch as to what I am about to do here VERY soon...

So Crash,

Are you doing custom fab work full time, or is this something you do on the side?

Lazy bastard! Am I gonna have to post that pic of you taking a nap on the couch? My bender should be here soon, but I couldn't afford hydro yet so I get to work out at the same time.

Crash,
Just a suggestion for you. I slapped a piece of plate between the two middle bars on my 74 cruiser and mounted the cb up there. I really liked it mounted up there.
Food for thought.

More on the side, with the family to take care of, house payments bla bla, Its too scarey to go off and do my own thing 100%. Plus, what I make in the shop, goes into my rig, which, here soon, gets the stack of goodies on it here soon....

Ya, the hydro isn't cheap. But, how often are you going to use yours? I am hoping to get a TON of use outa mine...

ha ha ha, I actually spaced the spreaders for the cb to fit up in there, how funny, thinking alike,lol...
Also, something people need to be carefull about putting a CB above your head, make sure its out of the bash zone, we lost a wheeler about 5 years ago due to massive head injury substained from his CB...

Exactly! If I decide it's too much work I can always add it later.

Manually bending tube just isn't that bad. Especially if you aren't doing it everyday. You get a good workout in the process. I always feel like a slave on an old rowing war ship

Hydro is nice, but I am like Shane and can't justify the price...

Great! Now instead of spending the money on a hydro setup I'm gonna have to hire someone to play a large drum while I'm bending tube. :pat:
