I need a little information on connecting a rear bumper

I bought an 87 truck that has no rear bumper. The end of the frame has bolt holes where the OEM bumper bolted on. Can anyone point me in the direction of pictures showing how they mounted a home made rear bumper to the frame? I am going to fab one up with the square receiver for pulling my boat.
Thanks

A lot of people just use 3/8" - 1/2" plate brackets bolted to the sides of the frame.
