yeah, I'm probably going to take the easy way out

Hey all;

On top of pics, I have all of Steve's raw pics from the webcam and am stringing them together into a timelapse movie. It should be up tonight.

I've got videos!

I took Steve's raw JPGs and cut them into a movie for your viewing pleasure.

I did three different ones. All are cut at 6 frames/second and run 2:11 in length. The difference is in resolution, frame size and file size.

My ISP would prefer you to "right click" and save locally for playing. Enjoy!

btw... As you watch the video, you come to realize that Steve did this all in basically just _one_ day. There were 789 jpgs, each taken at 1 minute intervals, so that's just a bit more than 13 hours.

thats really sweet, Mark!
nice work on the video

ya, i have to admit, Steve really works his tail off. He and Vern did an awesome job and worked hard to finish this project in only 2 days.

Looks good gents.

Also looks like a nice place to hang a solid axle if a person needed to. Those hoists are nice and sure beat laying down to work on stuff.

You guys are quite welcome for the video - thanks for the thanks!

If anyone would like an even lower resolution one (i.e., "smaller") lemme know. I don't think I can get it much below a 3meg(ish) filesize at 320x240 and still have it reasonable, but I'm willing to try if the 6 meg isn't palatable for your connection.

to answer your question (which Charles already did quite nicely) is NO

the reason being, is that if im going to put a front locker in, im going to do it right and put in an ARB. but this time around, with everything else going on, the funds just didnt permit it. when i find that i cant get by with just my rear locker, i might invest in a front one.

Indeed.

I'm sure it won't be long before itching for that front locker, especially if you are itching at coming back for the MARTINEZ run.

So is this going to turn into a Drive-thru(Az)-SAS-or-4WD in a one day business?

If your paying were working. Next time Vernon can handle the mechanics and I'll do the fabriction work. We know how long it takes and exactly what is involved.

All I have to do is get the over the axle spring perch from All-Pro and I will have everything. The Chevys have been rebuilt with Genuine GM bushings, GM clip spacers and Toyota FJ-60 friction pads. I have front Jeep CJ mounts, Rear Toyota 89-95 Mini PU mounts, Brand new GM shakles, Daystar poly bushings for the Mini mounts and finally Old Man Emu N76 Racing shocks.

This tire WILL be on the ground.

So you vultures can start salivating over the Spidertrax arms, OME 4Runner rear shocks, CB spacers, OME trim packers and all the rest of the rear coil stuff I have.

Steve-I'd like to add the control arms to the "items that used to be on Schaefer's truck and are now on mine" list. If, you don't want too much for them. PM me a price and how long before you'll be parting with them.
