Very nice work. Did you cut those pieces freehand with a plasma?

$153.25 for the winch mount from Trail Gear, and $45 for the 2'x4' chunk of plate.

Thank you. I cut the plate freehand with a 4 1/2" grinder. I'm old school like that.

Negatory Mr. Monster. That is an unnecessary item as this truck is not "hardcore". Nice try on stirring the pot though!

That bumper is sick! It reminds me of the transformers with all those angles. Very nice work.

I know this kind of an old thread by I was wondering if you ever thought about sharing or selling the designs for the bumper. I think it looks pretty sick and need one pretty bad for my truck

I'm sorry for not getting back sooner, however I did not write down any dimensions as I built it. Just sat and did the whole trial and error game thru the build process. I chose to put a lot of angles and puzzle pieces into it for both strength and appearance.

Jack Daniels is also an excellent helper for the design aspect...... but he can be dangerous when it comes to power tools (lol).

If it helps, I started with the Trail Gear winch plate as a base and then took time to play with a lot of construction paper, tape, and scissors.

Just have patience with the process and you'd be amazed at what can come to light once the pieces start to go on.

I can relate to the design stage of never really saving any real prints or measurements.
