RJ and I did some mods to the flatbed today but we ran out of wire.
We will finish it up tomorrow when I have a fresh spool of .030.
I am keeping it a secret until I am done with it.

Notice anything different?

I used the old smittybuilt rollbar and cut the legs off and used peices of 1/4" 5x5 boxed to stand the roll bar on welded the roll bar to the peices then welded it to the flatbed.
I plan on adding some support legs from the roll bar to the frame but I am waiting until I have my rocksliders done to do it.

I know it's not some sick ass exo setup but it's basic protection if I do roll over.

Just some info I just completed my 2000 silverado 63" leaf spring install tonight.
The front spring bushing has a 5/8" diameter bolt hole so you will need to drill your spring hanger to match.
The rear leaf bushing is still 9/16" so that hasn't changed.
Also the center pin on the leaf pack is a little larger than 5/8" so the ubolt plate center hole will need to be reamed out slightly to fit.
The 00 silverado pack I am using is a 2 leaf pack with a overload.
I am using bud built 8" shackles and the spring pack makes the truck sit level with the front and I believe the front springs are 4" procomp springs they have sagged some and are actually about 3" now.
I am able to completely stuff my rear tires they touch my flatbed tray.

Not really just for state inspection it's easy to throw some rollers under it for that.
However you do have to have mud flaps covering the tire if you run a flatbed tray.
I am just running a cherry bomb on it. It realy kinda too loud I may goto a more silent muffler later down the road.
