cv replacement HELP!!!

i cant seem to get the axle shaft outta the spindle i took the four bolts out and all.... what can i do. its just sittin there now!!! lol

Did you take off the dust cap and pull off the 35mm nut under that?

yes i did get all that dont. the forum i'm using it says it just slides out and it sure isn't lol

Have you separated the spindle from the lower control arm? You also might need to give the end of the axle a couple of whacks with a hammer to loosen up the splines.

What online write-up are you using?

i cant get i loose from the botom spindle.... its killing me!!!! awwww lol

Look at the pic labeled Step 17 in the write-up you are using...if all 4 bolts are out, get a long prybar and separate the spindle from the LCA. There might be some rust keeping everything together.

ya the spindle is seperated from the lac... its just the cv alxe is stuck in the spindle and i hit it a lot lol its not comin loose!!! any other tips would be great. thanks

if the lower control arm is loose from the spindel and that 35 mm nut is off. just give it a good few tugs and it should pop out. there a little clip that hold the ends of the cv shaft in he diff
