custom front bumper idea - feedback please

After spending too much time reading, and not enough doing, I've decided to jump into the fray. This summer I plan to build new bumpers for my truck as well as my brothers 2nd gen runner. I really like what wjwerdna has done with his custom front bumper... check it out here if you haven't already:

Anyway, I'm not nearly as good as he is at the CAD stuff, but I like the idea of seeing it before I build it, so I have attached a couple designs I've played with. I basically went with his wjwerdna's design, but added a couple more lights (who doesn't want more lights?) I hope wjwerdna doesn't mind my blatant copying of his idea (imitation is the highest form of flattery, right?)

What do you guys think looks better? The straight fogs? or on the diagonal? Not sure what I want with those. The design shown should work okay for my brother's bumper, but for my bumper I want a similar design, but winch compatible.

So, if any of you have any pics of ARB or WARN winch bumpers, I'd love to see them. The more detail the better. The only pics I can see just have a bumper with a hole for the fairlead. Where does the winch sit? How is it mounted? How does the bumper conform around it, etc etc. Anyway, if anyone has some good detail pics of that sort of stuff I would really appreciate it (especially one of the backside of an unmounted bumper). Also, where are standard mounting holes for winches, and what dimensions should I plan for in a typical winch? Still not sure which winch I'll end up with.

Oh yea, I was also wondering what thickness of metal to use. I'm thinking 1/4", but will 3/16" work okay?

well the thicker you use the harder you can hit it before damage occurs but then it weighs more and reduces fuel economy. so it comes down to personal oppinion.
