My front bumper is sitting the the back of my truck. All I need now are white fenders and I'll be a true pre-runner. I feel naked...

My buddy wants your BJ spacer, shocks, and maybe your upper arms if it is easier for you. Let me know what you want for em and when they'll be available and I'll relay the message.

I should be getting my rig done soon too, I just put down a fat deposit at Protrux. We'll have to go wheeling after we're set up. Can't wait to see yours.

Just modified the CV on my driveshaft. I'm going to wait till I mount the axle in order to see how much spline travel I need..

I like your brake lines and wheel spacers....looks rad

What size tire and gearing are you going to do?

Are you keeping coils in the rear or are you eventuallyt leafing that too?

Looks good. Marc and I are rooting for ya.

Alrighty. I had Jeremy from Weldtec Designs in Santee,Ca Weld on the front and rear hangers. Pricey, but did a very nice job and well worth the money.

The transfer case cooler had to be relocated with a fabbed bracket since the cooler was on the inside of the frame where the rear passenger shackle hanger was going.

Ill stick with my 32's and my stock 4.10's for now. I will eventually end up with 33x12.5 and 4.88's.

I bought Mikronized old rear 4" Superlift Coils. When I pick up the 3" (shackle gives another inch of lift) buggy leafts from All Pro since they were on backorder, Ill get their upper and lower control arms. I'll also get their panhard raising bracket. Hopefully this will give me some good flex. Just have to find a shock solution. I fabbed up some brakets that anthony1 had made for mounting hoop shocks. Now I just have to find and appropriate shock. I think i might match the front with some Bilstien 5150's in the rear.

Hopefully I'll be done before the TTORA trip to Big Bear in August

Leaf front, coil rear.....you're gonna be like a backwards XJ. They flex well though, and you're setup sounds better.

What is up with your transfer case cooler? Did that come stock on newer runners? or did you add that? If so was it hard, how much, and where do I get one?

With my little 4 banger I am in low all the time and it would be nice to lose some of that heat.

no problem!

I don't think you'll really need the coil compressor though.
When I installed my OME860's we just disconnected the shocks and the panhard... then highlifted one side at a time and just put them in by hand. easy!

Are you using a reciprocating saw to hack the IFS off?

I just killed my brother's 12v reciprocating saw. My other weapon of choice is a 4" angle grinder.

Spent more than a few hours grinding this weekend. Got down to the last bracket and my angle grinder died. The bracket was cut off, but not grinded clean. (Ill attack it dremmel later) I was so close!! So out of my frustration, I hung the springs, hung the axle, installed the steering and brakes.

I still need to get an allignment and get the shock hoops, bump stops, steering stabilizer and panhard bracket welded on. I'll be securing the brakelines to the shock hoops. I'm not sure if Im going to need the driveshaft spline kit yet, and I still need to get the longer rear links. Im kinda strapped for cash at the moment so I dont think ill be making it to Pismo or Big Bear with TTORA. I still want to throw in a front lockright before I get out wheeling again.

No More IFS

4" front vs 1.5" rear (will install rear springs this week)

Driver wheel well (brakelines will be secured to shock hoops)

New Pitman arm (old one came off with a 32mm socket, puller and a whole lot of heat)

Rear IFS bracket still not clean cut... Ill get back to that later

The upper arm/engine mount will be covered up with a welded plate.
