shame i missed this.

im working on designes for mine, most likely built out of MDF, but i like the idea of steel much much more, stronger and takes up less volume.

for me i will be doing the same with the cd player by with a cb radio.

I have sooo been wanting to do this, excpet I want to use transparent light blue plexiglass. I think it will be totlay sick. I'm also going to work some of the blue plexi into my diamond plated paneling.

 

that center console is pretty bad ass i think im going to fab one accept its going to go to the base of the dash, i'll use like a peice of leather or something to cover the stick shift

 

how do you like that center console...???

 

I just recently finished building a center console. I used MDF and I fiberglassed it up. Mine runs all the way to the front. as you can see....
