bobbed 85 toyota box

i need a starting point on getting my measurements right. i want to take 13 inchs out of the bed, but dont no were to start.

yes i got that, but not sure on how to get my first strait cut so the bottom of the box (the high low spots) will line up again?

Behind the wheel well. I made my measurements from the front of the bed and make sure to take the rear spring mounts into consideration.
Measure multiple times.

try using a laser level for a vertical line. that will give you a straight line to go by and then you can adjust were to cut...currently doing the same
