Yup, its illegal to modify pretty much anything actually, if you read the RCW's. which after being lectured by a stater for 20 minutes i actually did go and read every single RCW (hours n hours n hours of reading)... they pretty much have us covered if they wanna ticket any thing we do to our rigs. It's rediculous!

It's hit and miss with county and lacey cops ... for example State patrol let me go with a warning, my local (Lacey) city cops could care less about equipment violations... they actually want to catch criminals not inconvenience law abiding citizens like myself (thank god cool cops exist!) with BS fix it tickets (really? WHO GIVES A FLYING F?) catch oxy dealers and wife beaters, leave us hobbiiest the hell alone... GRRR

then theres Lakewood PD, who gave me a bumper height violaton ticket!!!! at 6am in the morning on my way to work.. REALLY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? i hope that cop has nightmares... what a dbag, really, a dbag.

I respect cops whole heartedly, I would LOVE to be one, i have some close friends who are cops and i respect the profession but c'mon, equipment violation tickets are the most assanine waste of government time n funds EVER. REAL cops dont waste their time with that crap. I know how long it takes to issue and process a equipment ticket and at a local city cops salary, its a wash for $$.. WASTE OF TIME, the city doesnt actually make ANY money off it because the cop spends an hour adding it to his reports.. so dumb, including the time the sgt has to take to read it and approve it..

arghhh....

/rant off...

seriously tho, its dumb haha

Nice work. I'm not a fan of tube bumpers but that one really compliments the truck.

As far as fix it tickets go, its one thing if you have somebody driving around rolling through stop signs because they have no brakes or somebody who welded 2 ft. spikes on their front bumper with the intention of hurting someone; but to harrass citizens for fabricating their own parts, performance or replacement, is just ridiculous.
