60s and 44s UPDATE

old thread https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f88/60s-44s-163083/

got the truck rolling on the dana 60 and 44s this weekend.
i converted the dana 60 to 85 chev 1/2 ton 4x4 calipers and rotors to clear the 15" wheels and match the rear dana 60. i am not a big fan of grinding calipers.
i also converted it to 6 bolt.
pics of the rear suspension.

Nice looking rig.

I do have a question for you though, why would you run a 60 in the rear and a 44 in the front? It would seem that the front axle would pose more of a threat for breakage with the steering and all. I rarely read about the rear breaking. Why not run 60s front and rear?
