4.3 conversion headers

Here's the deal, i have a 1988 pickup that I'm swapping a 4.3 into. it has a 4" susp lift and a 2" body lift, I'm going with a rebuilt 350 tranny and 205 transfer. The problem that I"m running into is exhaust maniflods, I tried the factory tube headers and they point right onto the frame, as you can imagine that's bad. I was wondering if someone that's done a similar swap could point me in the right direction please... Also is there any way to hook the speedo from the toyota up to the 205 transfer or am i going to have to use my tach as a speedo persay.

Sanderson Headers. I just dropped in a 4.3 to '95 Runner. The sanderson's work really well. As for the speedo, look up upndair and ask him. he just did a conversion and well, he knows more about it!

Sanderson or the stock tubular manifolds you already have - cut the flange off and have an exhaust shop re-route them below the frame rail. This is the route I did on my 4.3. Exhaust shop charged me $225 for a full exhaust and custom header mod...
