Just bought a 93 pickup- 3.0 V6 4X4 189,000 miles, mechanic owned. In the last 3 years he had done breaks, head job, new radiator, new clutch, timing belt and all drive belts, water pump, new exhaust, pretty much everything mechanically has been done recently.

My question is how long can I realistically expect this thing to last?? I only paid $3000 for it but I find myself wanting to accessorize (lift, tires, new paint, soft topper etc...) and put more money into this truck. Is that a good idea or am I just polishing a turd here??
