Gunslinger's Profile: 5RUNNER UAV

Last year i started wanting a motorcycle. i saved and saved, but when the time came, nobody would co-sign for a bike. so I bought a '97 Toyota 4runner SR5 2WD. it's got a lackluster 3.4/auto and i drive it to work.

once i bought it, i realized how many of these things are out there. I also realized that chicks dig 'em...alot. it gets good gas mileage @ an average of 18, and it carries all the tools and parts i need, and it's got a roof rack for ladders. I can say that this is an ultimate vehicle for the average middle aged woman. I, being a 20 y/o man need something slightly different.

Once I pay this off, I should have enough credit to buy a bike, i have a '71 Nova i'm building into a street car, so my work truck; or station wagon - as i like to call it, will transform into my Urban Assualt Vehicle. when i need to get from my house, to work and back I take it very seriously. windows down, stereo up, and petal to the floor.

aww, still innocent

bored at work, now it's evil.

new high performance axle seal. 25 horses to the wheels

there's more to come.

i appologize for the bad picture quality. i need to find a digital camera not connected to a phone

it's first tattoo (matches mine)

Off road!!

centercap customization

premier CD player (gotta fix all the green)

locked, cocked, and loaded.

just because it's mine...

"I've got the cape, I get to make the WHOOOSH noises"

So far, I've changed every fluid & filter (except for auto tranny filter) and i've detailed the engine bay, interior, and painted the undercarriage. I removed the intake baffles, and instead of a deckplate, i drilled several 1" holes in front of the airbox. I built a heatshield out of plastic for the airbox, and i've painted the toyota emblem on the engine and grille. I've replaced the floormats, cargomat, and i'm looking into seat covers.

while it's a 2wd i can still go anywhere on the planet.

I rode about 60 miles today, on about 500 feet of pavement. Ipod blaring my headphones, 2002 xr250 taking care of the dirty work, and a couple of buddies to race through the woods.

after that ride i came home & got my camera, to show ya'll the 'trails' around here. i'd like to see a 4runner go through these

oh, and my trucks still clean.

this is also where we play paintball. (sorry, still learning new camera)
