All we need is 4: 6" side plates. $20.00 for all 4. Very small investment.

Call me later, without that trac bar this thing is not going to climb anything. I think we need to bring that stuff in and at least get the mount welded on before you service the rear, so we just re-heat the old oil again.

...may as well throw that "Elvota rear disc setup" on too when you service the rear!

...and since you're at it, might as well throw in a 2.7 or 3.4 swap. That way I'll know what's involved.

More of Mike's SAC......

This is all the parts that were NOT cut off when the truck arrived in Tempe. This is just the inner frame stuff, not the outer.

This is how much the drive shaft pulled out with the 5" TG rear leafs. This is with the springs quite flat. They still have a good 10" of droop. Holly new drive shaft Batman!

After years of Mike running with SA trucks and Rock Buggies, this tank is spent.

Front Passenger side cleaned up.

Front Passenger side cleaned up.

Front Suspension Cleaned Up.

Team Arizona High Speed Straight Axle Setup. The irony is that he will be able to go AT LEAST 3X faster on high speed desert than with the stock IFS. This leaf suspension has 4" of pure up travel landing on that super soft bump stop. The old IFS has 4" of TOTAL travel, both down and up.

Team Arizona High Speed Straight Axle. Yes it can still go slow too.

WINCH ALERT !!!

Sam's Club in Chandler on 54th street has 12 or so 10,000 pound winches on closeout for $229.00

Charlie & Steve gave me the FYI, they picked up a few themselves. They have a buddy that used one of these on a tow truck.

They said time is of the essence of you want one. Even comes with the steel line and a snatch block.

You know, Team New Mexico would have produced 5-6 of these trucks in a couple days.

They would have all been stolen from AZ

I don't think anytime soon. He is knee deep in a home remodel and working on buying a cabin.

I can't work on it until the fall, fitting this truck in with all the 3rd Gen work is proving to be difficult and Feb-May should be even busier.
