Suspension question

Suspension question
I currently have a 2001 2wd SR5. I was looking to upgrade the suspension and found a set of front struts w/ springs., and rear shocks off of a 2017 4wd Tacoma. Is it possible to exchange the fronts and rear shocks without too much modification?

05-15 use the same leaf spring hangers/shackles as 2wd vs 4wd. It's not uncommon for guys with a 2wd truck to swap in 4wd springs to lower the rear down 1/2 an inch.
As far as 16+ to 01-04 spring compatibility? I have no idea. I don't think it's never been done and i don't think anyone has ever thought to do it.
I have no idea if you have a 2wd truck or a Pre-Runner but the Pre-Runner's share the same suspension as the 4WD.
If you have an actual base 2WD truck, just do a little google searching and see what you can come up with.
Thanks,

Thanks for the input. I have a 2wd 3rd gen 4runner, not a Tacoma. I was curious as to shock and strut interchange, not rear springs. I apologize for not being clear. The guy had the front coil overs with the springs and just rear shocks.
