Sonny that would be a great idea!! Get all of us out there!! meet all the BC'rs from around this area!! I'm down for that!! Get the trucks dirty and hit up a place for some eats and drinks!!

And Stave would be good for the 4th gens to come out and play!!

And Mkool if your planning getting a spacer lift, we can still do as planned before.. and I can knock off a copy for dave to use...

Hi...another BC'er here! I didn't even realize this thread was here until dOubledown brought it to my attention. I'm definitely in for a meet and greet, especially if its stock friendly...assuming that fairly inexperienced girls in 2nd gens are allowed to come and play Stave works well for me, as I live about 10 mins away from it. I'm off on weekends, however Sundays work better for me as I work late night shifts and can't be expected to be awake any earlier than 2pm on Saturdays.

BC_Runner, I'd totally be in for camping up there in Feb. Unfortunately I'll be in Ontario that week. I've always wanted to go winter camping.

of course youre allowed! anyone & everyone...from stocker to shocker haha..and whatever in between. we'll have to play it by ear & according to the weather (apparently we're due for more snow ) but im hoping if it stays relatively warm..then definitely in the next month or so. hopefully there isnt too much snow around. i've only been to stave once..so it'll still be kinda new for me still. im not down for boggin' either...the novelty kinda wears off after the 1st rip through the mud...

maybe hit the trail to the lookout n have some lunch or something up there. or wheel till whenever n have a bbq n drinks or something like that? sunday works with most people here..?

Come to think of it, I heard this too. A friend of mine was up there last weekend I think, and there was a huge washout somewhere around 29K or something. Apparently they spent most of the day pulling out buddy's brand new FJ, cuz he didn't see the huge whole in the road. That's coming in from Harrison Mills side though. If you're going in through Pemberton it's probably ok.

Sorry man, yeah I meant going in through Pemberton. I'm pretty sure there is a bypass where the road is washed out coming from the Harrison end but I've never used it.
There are some nice secluded spots around 40k from the Pemberton end and we'll probably make a run to the hot springs at Sloquet Creek on the Sunday.
Plannin' on headin out the Sat morning and back Monday afternoon, talk to the fam and see if ya can swing it!

Count me in to ride shottie wit you on the 24th run...

Oh, and Sat or Sun are good for me most weekends.

Hey rubysRunner, welcome to the board!... We like to get a few good camping trips in a year so maybe you can make the next one!

k well maybe we can set up a date for early march. that will give you enough time to sort things out with your truck if need be. anyone have any objections to the 1st or 2nd sunday of march? should we do a run then go to a restaurantfor eats n beers? or maybe setup a quickie BBQ at the lookout, or on the flats?

theres also another more advanced run happening on feb 24th. check bc4x4.com's trail talk forum for more info. i'll be doing this run, and anyone who wants to come along, or ride b!tch seat is always welcome. BC_Runner came out to eagle last time out...t'was a smokin good time i ususally have seats available, and most places we go you always have the option of parking & riding up with someone else if you dont want to bash your rig...

also, anyone up for the maintenance run in march? 2nd saturday of each month. stocker friendly..im thinkin of going again to this one as they now add hale creek to the mix. easy but fun run down to the lake...(that could even be an option for a meet & greet)

National 4WD

I recently visited National4WD's web site http://national4wd.com and saw a survey asking where visitors would like the next store to open. The only BC choice was Victoria which prompted me to send an email asking, "Why would you consider Victoria over Vancouver?"

There reply was:

"Thanks for your email. I'm jumping the gun by a couple of weeks, but the
reason that Vancouver wasn't listed is because we are already coming. The
store should open May 1st of this year. Watch the website for details."

I, for one, cant wait!

yep chris...thats right! i talked to lee in the calgary store last sept, and pretty much confirmed that as well. im pretty stoked about it...more competition for nsor/sport trucks means much better prices!

hopefully they'll have an awesome grand opening sale...

Hey Sonny, have you been on one of those maintenance runs, I was thinking of going on the Feb one. What are they like as far as terrain and people.

im hoping to go to that one too...i think i either have kids or work that day though...i'll have to see if i can wiggle my way outta it.

the terrain is pretty tame, pretty much stuff like we were doing over at davis lake. sunrise is fun..but a bit short. i havent been down to hale creek yet though..but from the pics it looks fun. not locker-necessary or even slider necessary for that matter. its a stocker run, so you'll be fine. the people are great...no yahoo's or drunkards wantin' to tear ˟˟˟˟˟ up haha. definitely a good run and will put your runner through its paces.

i think national does carry OME, but unsure of prices. i'd email em to find out...id be willing to be they can get better prices than NSOR. call for a quote n see if NSOR can match or beat it. im sure they'll do their best to not make you shop at national...

Hey Jesse,

Now I see why you haven't picked up my brush bar. That ARB looks pretty good.

I've been talking to EBI Landcruisers in Port Moody lately. They can get OME and ARB equipment. They seem pretty knowledgeble and fair priced. Has anyone dealt with them before?
