Jim's top tips about proxy servers and getting around firewalls:

1. Use a anonymous proxy service (ie www.anonymizer.com or www.the-cloak.com -my favoriate-)

2. Just don't use a proxy. Remove the proxy settings from the browser and the network do the work.

3. Borrow an internet protocol (IP) address that is used go get out to the internet (search for IP spoofing on the internet).

4. Use a UNIX host or server. UNIX servers do not have Microsoft Policies to stop you from surfing.

5. Use dialup. Hookup your PC to a phone and use Juno or another free service. It's slow but, its also free.

6. Having problems getting music or other multimedia file? No problem, some music servers run HTTPS or web secure between the server and client. Proxies can't tell what your are doing. If you can't receive images in mail or music samples try to get the sender to paste them into Microsoft Word. Email servers won't censor MS Word documents.

7. Remote Access! Remote access into a host from your local PC and get into the internet.

8. If you tried all this and still can't get to the internet at work then ... change your proxy settings to 8080 port. This is a unique port that is used between proxies and is seldom secured.

Good luck!

since the first meet is only two weeks away and theres still alot to do id say theres maybe a 30% chance ill be showing up with my truck, maybe a 5% chance id actually take it on the trails, theres just too much to get done right. I did get the front axle broken down and the knuckles put back on in the correct arrangement so i could attatch the calipers, and the new rotors. I'll still show up, maybe we can take the pickle out on the trails and put some heeps to shame Tellico is only two weeks later so who knows, maybe it will all magically come together.

I sure as heck hope it all comes together for Tellico at least, I'm going but I don't have rear recovery points, so I might just have to ride along, and I rather ride with you then someone I don't know. As for Uwharrie, it would be a miricale if your ready for that, I think the pickle can handel it with a problem. . You gota get Jason in line, so that engine can at least get wired up.

its not because of a lack of motivation by anyone really, theres just a curse thats preventing me from getting any of my parts in a reasonable ammount of time.

There's this guy I know... His name is Murphy... you need to kill him. And all will be well.

But seriously... Worship your rig, for it will soon be done....

No more ass sag, yeah. Woot if you like an even lift. .

Jermey shoot some pics of those bad oys before you install I want to see how tall they are. Glad to hear you'll be even again, now if we can just hear that your engine fired it's first spark that'll be even better.

Matt you just need to order those coils, Jermey sent me a picture of a guy there in Raleigh that did an SAS on his 2nd gen and used the coils he just got, and it sits dead level with the AP 3" springs. I'll see if I can find that guys site or at least the picture Jermey sent me, if not I'm sure J will.
