Gonna Get Off Blocks Monday

Finally the stealership has my parts coming monday. I decided to get my wheeling barings done at the stealership cause no one in Race City USA (Mooresville) had a clamp that was big enough to fit around the hub. I have been waiting for Randy to send the correct diff and the finally said a TrueTrac will not work w/o modificcation of axle lengths...... ARB or open are the only option. It being Dec, the $ tree is out of leaves i needed to go with the cheeper route (open).
:pat:  :pat:
I am just happy it might be running on Monday after 2 months in the garage.
I guess I'll have to wait till the Bronco before I get duel lockers
Randy's letter

Moral of story is: the tree is stronger than the spider

Is that true? Did you get a second opinion? From what you say they dont know *#@% from shineola. Also, I assume your talking about the front diff.

I'm off da blocks and breaking the diff in. I am definently talking about the front diff. They sent me a diff w/ trutrac that would fit your truck. The problem with the 3rd Gen is the splines length. e output shaft splines need to be cut and welded longer.
