Hi all, just to keep things moving, wanted to see if we can come to some consensus on our meeting location, I suggest just biting the bullet and having the first one at the poll winning location, maybe subsequent ones at the runner up, and then rework the plan to according to whatever we come up with in person. We shouldn't expect a big glorious event, but it would be cool to have something before too much time passes...

So so far I have heard the following suggestions; Fairfax, McLean, Chantilly, and I'm going to add Manassas. I think this gives us a stretch to work with and covers what appears to be the focus of everybody who has chipped in so far.

 

I think a Fairfax or Chantilly spot might be a good location. It seems like one of these two locations is in the center of all our homes. Am I making sense?

Once a spot is picked, should we just set a date to meet and hope all can make it? How about next Friday evening (June 27) around 7:30 pm?

Funny you should mention that, I was in Roanoke this weekend and will be back the weekend of the 11th. My parents and my wife's parents live there.
