POLL - VA4ROC.com Website opinions

Hey all, if you have any opinion on the website here's your chance to speak up. I feel it has some great parts but in the long run the color scheme has always stopped short of what I intended, and I think it needs a little work. Since it represents all of us I'm very interested to know how you guys respond to it so it can reflect all of us. Pick one vote...

We definately need to update and/or add more member truck pics. Maybe we can email pics to you for the webpage. Would there be any problems to having thumbnails of member's 4Runners and have them expand after clicking on them?

The color scheme makes it hard to read.

Yes it does. The original Frontpage scheme that I based it on worked ok, but it didn't allow more colors, now the colors kinda make it kindof out of whack. It was the only way to make the sub content show up logically and keep the clicks and sub pages down. It kindof reached a point where the improvement stopped and the scheme just hit a limit of manipulation. I may go for a simpler color scheme altogegther, sucks this one isn't quite cutting it.

One thing to note, I'd like to keep the background black, for the main reason that most of the graphics were custom made for a black BG and will look bad if that changes. No only that, but they would have to be re-made from scratch since I don't have most of the original psd files, or may not be redone if I no longer have the subject or items that were photographed. This alone represents a ton of work that I don't care to redo just to change the BG.

Making it easier to read would be good, as I'm getting old and going blind. Tomorrow I start going deaf too (getting married)!
